C-Murder, can’t advertise

Posted by mindsetofthegreatest on October 24, 2006

Having a name like C-Murder, and your on trial for apparently killing a 17 year old kid in a close quarter club, isn’t the most positive thing to have under your name. Not only that, but the added fact that he is black too.

C-Murder’s label, Capital Records, are trying to advertise for his upcoming album[which will probably end up being garbage, anyways], but can’t since that would violate a gag order. This would only intensify for more media attention and can only take photographs at his own house.

House arrest is a condition of Miller’s $500,000 bond.

Wow.

Sassone also agreed to let Miller, under orders to stay inside his house, into his backyard to play with his children. “I would like for him to spend time with his kids,” she said.

I’m even more surprise this jig even have kids.

Ras Kass Drops New Diss Single Aimed At Game

Posted by mindsetofthegreatest on October 21, 2006

Rass Kass

Not that Ras Kass is a bad rapper, but who really gives a fuck about him right now? If yall don’t know about this beef going on with The Game and Ras Kass, I suggest you click here.

Ras Kass send out a diss song that I haven’t even heard yet [but will probably do a track review on it] on Game, and it’s called, ehhh….”Gayme Over”. From what I heard, he takes on Game’s sexuality and his creditibility. Here’s a little sample on what he saids about Game:

“You’re the waste of L.A./get blast up in LA/face down, a** up in LA/you the Crocodile Hunter, I am the sting ray/”

LOL at how quickly these rappers are using Steven Irwin’s death as a punchline. Well, I guess I’ll go check this song out, hoping it won’t suck balls, because it last 6 minutes long, and that could be time spent doing something a little more useful.

Like, figuring out how to bomb North Korea or something.

The Doctor’s Advocate Vs. Kingdom Come

Posted by mindsetofthegreatest on October 20, 2006

The GameJay-Z

Game’s The Doctor’s Advocate, is shaping up to be one the most anticapted album of the year. Even with the infamous name-dropping stature of the Game’s style of rap, can Jay really have a force to be reckon with? I mean, he [Game] told Jay to push his album back.

“As far as my release date, November 14th, and Jay dropping on the 21st, he should move his album away. Like Jay is a legend, we all love Jay and respect Jay but it’s that out of retirement album,” Game told SOHH.com. “[Everyon'e wondering] are we gonna get the old Michael Jordan back or are gonna get that Mike that played for the Wizards so everyone’s is gonna wait to see what he’s gonna do — but I know what I got.”

Not saying Kingdom Come, will be trash, but the fact that Jay’s first two leak singles were god awful and his music video for “Show Me What You Got”, looks more like a T.V. commercial during a BET special than a music video, has to imply that his album may not be that good.

Another note to be added is Jay is residing in Africa for his ummm…rapping for water project. He is sending e-mail’s and recording far away from Just Blaze. Can that really add up to be a classic, or utter shitty [No Ali shtting in his pants]?

*On a side note, check the XXLMAG.com interview with Jay-Z for more in-depth look on his music project*

Weed Carriers and Rappers, The Day They Get Shot…again

Posted by mindsetofthegreatest on October 18, 2006

Ali Vegas Fabolous

If yall haven’t heard, Nelly’s “weed carrier”/”bag handler”, Ali Vegas, was tasered 47 times by police in St. Louis. Claiming to be brutalize by them, the weapon of choice by the police was a 50,000 volt taser gun. Not only that, Ali also told reporters that he…umm…shitted on himself.

Litterally.

“He gets out, opens the backdoor and he tases me over and over,” Jones told local TV station KSDK Channel 5. “I was afraid. I had a bowel movement on myself, he tased me so long. You see my back, he tased me 35 times over and over and he held it every time.”

Also, just like all blacks who have no type of effiecent evidence, he blame this on racism. Go figure.

Ali also claimed the officer, who is white, made several racist comments during the incident, which sent Ali to a local hospital after he lost feeling in his right fingers and arm.

That wasn’t the only thing that stank [No Ali shitting in his pants] around the corners of Hip Hop. Loso aka Fabolous was shot in the thigh a couple of days later. From what I heard, he tried to snatch a chain from some jig and got fired upon as the end result.

After he was wounded, the rapper and four others tried to rush to the hospital but were stopped by the police, who allegedly found a pair of firearms in the vehicle. All of the men were arrested, according to published reports.

A week when weed carriers and rappers alike have gotten shot upon. Like they were doing anyting revolutionary, anyways.

Jim Jones: The Legendary Cornball

Posted by mindsetofthegreatest on October 12, 2006

Ever since the song, “We Fly High”, as contributed a little [I mean little] stir in the mainstream area rap, and not only will it die out [like most of the South's music] and never re-appear again, he must know some way to stay in the light.

I guess he does.

Today on XXLMAG.com, Jim Jones apparently produce a “diss” track to Jay-Z [Since, Cam couldn't do it, why not let his "weed carrier"].

Jim Jones “diss” to Jay-Z

Quite franky, who really gives a fuck about Jim Jones album, anyways? [Besides, the Dipshit fans]
